Read MoreUnprecedented flooding in Pakistan triggered by heavy monsoon rains beginning July 27, 2010 have ploughed a swathe of destruction more than 1000 kilometers (600 miles) long from northwestern Pakistan, through Punjab farmlands all the way down to the Sindh Province in a matter of two weeks. The onslaught has caused the banks of dykes to burst, flooding hundreds of thousands of hectares of farm land in Sindh alone. At least 660,000 people to date have been evacuated from low-lying areas of the Indus river basin in Sindh (particularly areas in and around Jacobabad) to higher grounds including camps in Karachi and Quetta. According to an estimate, these evacuations have been carried out for over 90% of villages existing in the region. The following are some key findings of this study:
Center of Hope Pakistan with strong determination and commitment to serve the humanity regardless of religion, caste, creed and color had started the campaign of the Hepatitis of Free Sindh in District Shikarpur. Center of Hope Pakistan raised voice in context of rallies and emphasized the District Health Department to conduct Screening for Hepatitis for the poor and needy people who are suffering from Hepatitis. After this protest and rallies 639 people were screened out and amongst of these 236 were found to be positive in Hepatitis in only City Shikarpur. The Screening process continued for 03 Days.
The 50 Volunteer (Male & Female) Youth of Center of Hope Pakistan worked day and night when Mr. Fahad Mangi was suffering from the disease Hepatitis and he was on last stage in May 2018
The Center of Hope Pakistan had implemented Green Shikarpur Campaign. It was first time in history of District Shikarpur that more than 01 Million Trees were planted in different spots such in School, Colleges, Main Streets of the city, and Sambhara Scouts Center. All the team of Center of Hope Pakistan got the trees through KIND Support from different School of Thoughts and Even District Government also had supported in tree plantation for the Shikarpur.
